Accessing postsecondary education opportunities can be daunting — help us keep those doors of opportunity open!

Since 1997 over 3200 people in our community — a mix of high school students, adult students, lifetime learners, and later-in-life learners — have sought out our postsecondary education counseling services.

Thanks to our incredible community of donors and volunteers, our community is stronger because we hold the doors of opportunity open for one another.

Ways to give

  • Donate once or all-year long. Support our college and vocational school counseling with a recurring monthly donation or a one-time contribution. No amount is too small and you can cancel anytime.

  • You can support our mission to ensure resources and access to college and vocational school counseling services are available to everyone who dreams of postsecondary education, by making a standing monthly donation or a one-time donation.

No amount is too small and you can cancel anytime.

  • Have abundant energy, but not a lot of time?

Our current area of greatest need:

We’re looking for volunteers to make a huge impact at Bridges by placing follow-up calls with would-be college or vocational students.

Ideal volunteers have great communication skills and would enjoy talking with people in our community about the free postsecondary education counseling services offered at Bridges.

  • Coming soon: Bridges seeks volunteer mentors for our local high school students.

It takes courage to pursue dreams.

Our clients today are your family, friends and neighbors. You can support them as they approach higher learning with a donation to Bridges Project for Education or by becoming
a mentor.

Your support ensures our services are always completely free of cost.

“I had dreams of going to school outside of New Mexico but, to be honest, I didn’t really know what existed aside from the Ivy League schools. The counselors at Bridges were great at developing my potential as an applicant and they helped me and my parents feel comfortable with me leaving the nest – I think when I look back to that initial experience, they helped me feel comfortable pursuing a new academic and personal journey and that gave me the confidence I needed to succeed.”
