The December Learning Curve in the Taos News addresses the numerous reasons why applying to in-state career and vocational schools, as well as two and four-year colleges and universities, can benefit New Mexico students. The New Mexico Legislative Lottery Scholarship is one of these benefits that can make college more affordable. It is available to New Mexico residents who graduate from NM high schools or from NM GED/HSE programs. Read Bridges’ blog post about New Mexico Legislative Lottery Scholarship.
Another option for NM residents who will be entering college as first-year undergraduates is the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program. To learn more about applying in-state and the WUE program, read the December 2017 Learning Curve.
