This year, Golden Door Scholars, a nonprofit that provides large college scholarships to DACA students with strong academic records, will award up to 50 college scholarships to DACA students across the country who are starting or continuing college in Fall 2019. Preference is given to students pursuing STEM degrees.
Scholarship recipients will receive funding for tuition, room and board for a four-year degree at Golden Door partner schools and schools offering in-state tuition to students with DACA status. Students who have applied to or are interested in other colleges should also apply. Golden Door Scholars will support students at non-partner schools on a case-by-case basis.
The application is available on the Golden Door Scholars website. The deadline is October 25, 2018.
