Taos High School has once again coordinated and posted a comprehensive list of Annual Community Scholarships for which eligible graduating seniors can apply. Local businesses, civic groups and other organizations sponsor these scholarships for postsecondary education. Some of the scholarships are specifically reserved for Taos High School students; others are open to any graduating senior in Taos County.
The majority of these scholarships have deadlines in early April 2019, although applicants need to refer to each application for their respective due dates. Interested applicants can learn more about the various scholarships and download the Common Scholarship Application (CSA), which is a required component for most of these scholarships, on the Taos High School website. The CSA requests personal and educational information, along with any awards, extracurricular activities or community involvement efforts. Students can also submit a resume and/or a personal statement essay if they choose.
Bridges is available Monday through Thursdays to help students apply to these and other scholarships. Call (575) 758-5074 or email Bridges at email@example.com to set up an appointment with one of our counselors.
